MINI dealers like us will be pairing up with local athletes, supporting their endeavours to qualify for Team GB or ParalympicsGB.
We are really chuffed to announce that we are now supporting local rower, James Foad, as he attempts to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Southampton-born James trains locally at the Molesey Boat Club. He has been rowing since the age of 11. By the time he was 17 he had already won major competitions and in 2011, he won bronze in the men's eight at the World Cup Regatta in Lucerne.
“This is just so great”, said James. “I can’t thank Cooper Cobham and MINI enough. I spend a lot of time driving to and from training sessions and driving to events ahead of London 2012, so having a brand new car is amazing. Suddenly, I’m the envy of all my friends!”
